I am very excited about the launch of our completely new website. I believe NAPNAP now has the technology to help us better engage and serve you, our professional associates, and our families. Kudos to the NAPNAP staff for all of their hard work and dedication in bringing this project to life! I hope you take the time to explore all that the new website has to offer, including ease of logging in to your membership record and PNPSourCE, ready access to the advocacy and professional resources you need, informative pages specifically for providers and families, and opportunities to spotlight the achievements of our chapters, SIGs and members.
Through this biweekly message, I look forward to speaking directly with you about the opportunities and challenges presented to us as PNPs and experts in children's health care. This blog provides a forum for sharing relevant information with you on NAPNAP activities and goals for the future as well as providing you with opportunity to add your opinions and comments. This is an exciting time for our organization and profession! Nineteen states have granted full practice authority and the autonomy necessary to increase children's access to care and be strong champions for child health. NAPNAP staff members are busy planning for the 2015 conference in Las Vegas, which is sure to be a stimulating experience for all who attend. Our newest board members took office on July 1, ready to lead NAPNAP to new levels.
This website presents the opening of a fresh, exciting chapter in NAPNAP history. I invite all of you to open a fresh chapter of personal involvement as well. You can visit the Advocacy Pages to find the latest information on ACA, CHIP and Medicaid, and share your advocacy story to inspire others. Logging into the NAPNAP Community Page will instantly connect you with colleagues across the country. In the Membership section, you can find our new Career Blog featuring peer-to-peer recommendations and real-life advice from colleagues. One click from the Home Page will take you directly to PNPSourCE where you can expand your knowledge and advance your career.
I welcome your responses and comments to my messages and look forward to communicating with your through the website and in person over the course of the coming year.
Yours in health,
