SDBP and NAPNAP Symposium: Developmental Behavioral Diagnosis and Management in Pediatrics (in conjunction with the SDBP Annual Meeting) will be held on Sep. 14, 2018, at the Anaheim Marriott.

This full day intensive workshop at the Society for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP) National Conference, is a jointly sponsored education event by NAPNAP and SDBP. It is ideal for pediatric primary care nurse practitioners, those preparing to make the transition into DB Peds specialty care and those working in DB Peds. Spend your day learning from two teams of three faculty members including, a nurse practitioner, developmental behavioral pediatrician and psychologist. The teams will walk the participants through two engaging case studies, each addressing a unique diagnosis, both designed to review the diagnostic presentation and appropriate assessment tools, formulation of diagnosis with interpretation of developmental and behavioral assessment measures, treatment options including psychopharmacology, family support and ongoing monitoring of a child with multiple common developmental and behavioral concerns.

The symposium is 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Registration is only $175 for NAPNAP and SDBP members. Non-members can register for $225. Registration will open in June.

On-site parking is $25 per day and valet parking is $31 per day.
The hotel is located 14.1 miles from John Wayne Airport-Orange County (SNA). Super Shuttle transportation is available seven days a week. The shuttles make multiple stops and drop off at the hotel. To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request must be received in the SDBP office by Aug. 16, 2018. Cancellation requests received by this date will receive a refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellation requests received between Aug. 7 and Aug. 29, 2018, will receive 50% of monies paid. Requests will be processed after the meeting. All requests received on or after Aug. 30, 2018, will forfeit 100% of monies paid.
