Developed in 2010, the Pediatric Health Care Home Special Interest Group (PHCH SIG) was established for nurse practitioners to provide leadership and support in comprehensive, effective pediatric health care delivery models of care. The PHCH SIG will promote a comprehensive approach to child health that acknowledges the importance of coordinating a child/youths' physical, mental, social emotional, dental, vision, developmental, educational and community health needs.

Pediatric Health Care Home (PHCH) SIG Award for Excellence in Doctoral Projects
The Pediatric Health Care Home (PHCH) SIG Award for Excellence in Doctoral Projects provides an annual monetary award of $250 to a selected recent graduate (within one year) of an accredited doctoral program whose scholarly project best exemplifies the current goals of the PHCH SIG. A second award will be made if the SIG budget has sufficient funds.
