Pediatric Palliative Care SIG

If you are interested in joining a SIG email us at and tell us what SIG you would like to join or simply mail in your SIG application.

Developed in 2012, the purpose of the Pediatric Palliative Care Special Interest Group (PPC SIG) is to focus its initial goals on educating the NAPNAP membership regarding the definition and scope of pediatric palliative care, including ways in which it can be applied in various types of settings and practices.

Pediatric palliative care is the active total care of the child's body, mind and spirit. It involves giving support to the family, begins when illness is diagnosed and continues regardless of whether or not a child receives disease directed treatment.

PPC SIG can offer support to members working within PPC specifically, as well as different disease populations.
