NAPNAP and AFPNP Strengthen Strategic Alliance to Advance Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Education, Workforce Development and Patient Care
The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the Association of Faculties of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (AFPNP) are proud to announce the continued strengthening of their strategic alliance, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing the pediatric nurse practitioner profession and improving the health and well-being of children and families.
Working in tandem, NAPNAP and AFPNP are aligning efforts to support each organization’s strategic plan and mission while leveraging their collective expertise to address the evolving needs of pediatric health care education, leadership and workforce development. This collaboration recognizes the essential connection between pediatric nurse practitioner education and clinical practice and underscores the importance of a unified voice in shaping the future of the profession.
As part of this enhanced partnership, NAPNAP and AFPNP have established a new joint committee, PNP Education & Workforce, which will serve as a collaborative forum for identifying emerging trends, addressing workforce challenges, promoting educational excellence and developing strategies to strengthen the pipeline of pediatric nurse practitioners across the continuum of education and practice.
