NAPNAP Members Honored

At the recent American Academy of Nursing annual induction ceremony, several NAPNAP members were honored in the 2015 class of Academy Fellows. To achieve this prestigious distinction, our members proved to have made significant contributions to nursing and health care and were judged based on the extent their careers have influenced health policies and the health and well-being of all.

We celebrate the achievements of:

  • Beth Bolick, DNP, RN, PPCNP-BC, CPNP-AC, FAAN
  • Tondi M. Harrison, PhD, RN, CPNP, FAAN
  • Karlen Luthy, DNP, FNP, FAAN
  • Carmel McComiskey, DNP, PPCNP-BC, CPNP-AC, FAANP, FAAN

We also congratulate inductee Mary Beth Bigley, DrPH, MSN, APRN, FAAN, a leader in shaping federal policies affecting APRNs as the director of the Division of Nursing and Public Health in the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Health Workforce.

“These nursing leaders will continue to transform policy and practice to the benefit of our nation’s children and their families, and mentor the next generation of pediatric-focused APRNs,” said President Cathy Haut, DNP, CPNP-AC, CPNP-PC, CCRN.
