One of the benefits we’re most proud to provide to you as a member of NAPNAP is access to our Journal of Pediatric Health Care (JPHC). Since 1987, we have been publishing JPHC in an effort to continually advance the field of pediatric health care. As the journal continues to evolve, we are excited to announce that JPHC will be transitioning to a digital publication offering online-only access beginning with Volume 39, Number 4 (July/August 2025).
Why Go Digital?
NAPNAP’s Executive Board made this decision for a number of reasons. First and foremost, going digital supports the environment by eliminating the need to print millions of pages each year. Climate change poses a threat to the health of the entire globe, and especially children. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of protecting children’s health — so if going digital means doing our part to protect the environment, it’s a move we are proud to make.
Â
Beyond environmental issues, printing costs have continued to rise to a point where it is no longer feasible to print the journal without incurring costs that would have to be passed on to you, our members. Our goal is to keep membership fees accessible for as many pediatric health care providers as possible, so that anyone can be a part of the incredible community you’ve fostered through NAPNAP.
Â
To support online access, we are upgrading the journal’s login process to be more user-friendly. Specific instructions will be provided on this page when the July/August edition is available.
Accessing JPHC
NAPNAP is developing new user-friendly functionality so you can gain access to JPHCÂ using your napnap.org login credentials. This new service will launch in early June, with more detailed access instructions available here upon launch. Stay tuned!
