We are offering our highly rated Acute Care PNP Certification Review course on Sept. 22-23, 2018, at Embassy Suites by Hilton - Baltimore Inner Harbor. 


Course Description

This interactive, two-day course is designed to prepare graduates of acute care PNP programs for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) acute care certification exam. We will focus on system-based acute care content and the role of the PNP in assessment, diagnosis and management of children with acute, critical and complex pediatric illnesses. Course faculty will integrate practice questions into each content area, using an audience response system, to assist in exam preparation.

CE: 15.0 contact hours

The review course is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with breakfast provided. Lunch is on your own. 

Registration is $300 for NAPNAP members and student members. All nonmembers can register for $375.

  • Noon–1 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1–1:45 p.m. -  Respiratory Part 2 
  • 1:45–2:45 p.m. - ​Neurology/Sedation
  • 2:45-3 p.m. – Break
  • 3–4 p.m. - Hematology/Oncology
  • 4–5 p.m. - Rheumatology/Immunology

Day Two

  • 8-10 a.m. - Cardiac
  • 10-10:15 a.m. – Break
  • 10:15-11 a.m.– Dermatology
  • 11 a.m.-Noon - Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary  ​
  • Noon–1 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1–2:30 p.m. - Infectious Diseases
  • 2:30–2:45 p.m. - Genetics
  • 2:45-3 p.m. – Break
  • 3–3:45 p.m. - Toxicology
  • 3:45–4:15 p.m. - Trauma/Musculoskeletal
  • 4:15–5 p.m. - Practice Questions

Getting to Baltimore

Local Transportation

The hotel is located 10 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). There are a few ways to get to the hotel from the airport: MTA Light Railairport shuttle and taxi.

If you are arriving by Amtrak to Baltimore Penn Station, you can take MTA Light Rail to the hotel.

Things to Do

Discover downtown Baltimore and the many things to do while staying at Embassy Suites by Hilton-  Baltimore Inner Harbor. The hotel is located four blocks from the famous Inner Harbor. Must-see attractions include the National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center. Cheer on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium or watch the balls fly at Oriole Park in Camden Yards. Refund Policy

We will refund your registration fees if we receive your cancellation in writing via mail, fax or email by Sept. 14, 2018. We cannot accept telephone cancellations. A $30 administrative fee will apply to all refunds.

Cancellation Policy

If NAPNAP finds it necessary to cancel this event for any reason including, but not limited to, registration responses, strikes or acts of God, liability shall be limited to a full refund of registration fees. Notification of a canceled event will be sent at least 10 days prior to the conference starting date, when possible. Registration refund will be processed within 15 days after event date.
