NAPNAP celebrates Nurses Week

May 06, 2011

This year, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) joins the community and salutes the nation’s 3.1 million nurses.

National Nurses Week is celebrated each year beginning on May 6th and ending on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. The purpose of the week is to recognize the contributions of the nation’s registered nurses and to educate the public about the role we play in meeting the diverse health care needs of the American people.
