Hib Disease Information Center Welcome to the Hib Disease Information Center Hibdisease.com is a comprehensive online resource developed by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) to promote recognition and education of Haemophilus Influenzae type b, or Hib disease, among parents and healthcare providers. "In the U.S., there are still too many cases of Hib disease every year, which can jeopardize a child's ability to talk, walk or perform daily activities by himself or herself. The Hib Disease Information Cener is a powerful tool, reminding us why both healthcare providers and parents must remain diligent in maintaining high immunization rates."
