Strategic Alliances A key strategic goal of NAPNAP is to create and/or enhance effective collaborative relationships with a variety of organizations, national efforts, and coalitions. NAPNAP's involvement varies with each organization from a formal relationship with appointed representatives and financial support to a more informal association between the two organizations. Involvement may be short term for just one or two meetings or may include a multi-year relationship. NAPNAP is currently involved in the below strategic alliances and has current activity within the past two years. 317 Coalition Steering Committee American Association of Retired People (AARP): Divided We Fail Campaign+ Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) Advisory Commission on Childhood (ACCV)*^: Department of Health & Human Services Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) Liaison Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE) American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Health Care Reform Think Tank (Participated 4/30/2009) American Nurses Association (ANA) Organizational Affiliate * Represents an organization in which NAPNAP has an appointed representative. * Represents an organization in which NAPNAP is listed as a collaborating or partner organization on the other organization's website. * Represents an organization in which NAPNAP has agreed to support a specific campaign, conference, or activity.
