Child Care

Developed in 1993, the Child Care SIG was established to educate PNPs and other nurses about the influence of child care on the health and development of children and additionally, the SIG provides a network of members with a special interest in child care and child care health consultation. The SIG seeks to: promote the role of nurses in child care, encourage active communication between child care providers and nurses, disseminate information about child care health and development to members, and promote quality child care.

The Child Care SIG has over 50 members nationally. The newsletters include current resource and research information of interest to nurses working with child care health and development. The dues are currently $20.00 per year.
