Adolescent Health Care

Developed in 2011, Adolescent Health Care SIG's (AHC SIG) purpose is to provide opportunites for increased awareness by all members of the NAPNAP organization and potentially increase membership by PNPs/NPs specifically interested in adolescent health care across different settings.

Adolescence spans the ages of 10-23, roughly half of childhood.  Adolescents benefit from high quality, developmentally appropriate health care and prevention strategies, and NAPNAP as an organization can benefit from focused attention to this age group by members who have adolescent interest and expertise.
