Acute Care PNP AC-SIG Scholar Award - This year’s recipient of the AC-SIG Scholar Award was Sarah Martin, MS, CPNP. She will be receiving a grant of $400 that can be used towards registration for NAPNAP Annual Conference. The Acute Care PNP Special Interest Group was established to provide a forum for the promotion of nurse practitioners functioning in acute and critical care. With more PNPs practicing in an alternative setting and with more acutely ill children being managed by PNPs, the SIG seeks to provide diverse educational opportunities, provide leadership and guidance for PNPs practicing in acute care, and provide a vision of the evolving role of PNPs in this rapidly changing healthcare environment.
