Best, Felicia Felicia Taylor, MBA Director of Membership, Chapters and Communications | | | Dear Chapter Presidents, It was a pleasure to see many of you at the national conference in San Antonio.
Just a reminder for those that haven't had a chance, please click on the following Chapter Summary Survey link and complete the survey by April 27, 2012. The survey is to collect chapter activities especially as it relates to fundraising, communication and legislative activity. This data will be very beneficial in helping the organization move forward in providing optimal support to our chapters. As NAPNAP continues to grow its chapter membership, it is crucial we take this time to collect this data to help create tools and provide information that is consistent to all chapters and in line with the overall strategic direction of the organization.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey which should only take a few moments. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ChapterSummarySurvey

NAPNAP | | In This Issue | | Photo Release Form Posting pictures on your website or publications can give your piece a personal touch. Before you do though, please have the person(s) in the picture release their permission for publication. Two ways the chapter can capture the person(s) permission: - Chapter can distribute NAPNAP Photo Release form and submit to the National Office.
- Or, the chapter can create their own Photo Release form (i.e., include in conference registration process) to collect the person(s) permission.

Chair Training (4:30pm): | | 2012 NAPNAP Conference's Hosting Chapter: South Texas Alamo Chapter | Chapter's Experience as Hosting Chapter The South Texas Alamo Chapter (STAC) had the pleasure of welcoming 1500 of our PNP friends to San Antonio this year at the National Conference. Our participation provided local PNP’s motivation to join and a chance to become actively involved at the local and national level. The STAC board wanted as many local members as possible to attend the conference and be ambassadors for our wonderful city. A year in advance we encouraged members to submit abstracts and offered mentoring for people submitting abstracts for the first time. We offered two scholarships for conference registration fees, one to an existing local member and one to a student PNP member. At the conference we had a chapter table and over 20 members volunteered to greet conference attendees. We wanted our PNP friends to approach our chapter members for help in navigating the city so we designed a new chapter logo and provided brightly colored polo shirts for all the volunteers. We provided city maps and restaurant guides so attendees would be able to find food and fun. It was a great experience for our local chapter and I hope all our PNP friends had a great time in San Antonio! Big thanks to the South Alamo Chapter!
NAPNAP would like to send a special thank you to the South Texas Alamo Chapter members for serving as our chapter hosts for NAPNAP’s 33rd Annual Conference in their local city. Their chapter’s participation with the Conference Planning Committee and assistance in variety areas of this years’ conference is greatly appreciated. The hosting chapter members were easily recognized by their special pink “South Alamo Texas Chapter” shirts provided by their chapter. The chapter also provided a fun face-in-hole board of a cowboy (located near their table a the registration) so that conference attendees could take pictures of themselves as a cowboy or cowgirl.
Thank you for your continued support and welcoming us in your home state. We appreciate all the South Alamo Chapter members’ hard work and enthusiasm with this year’s NAPNAP Conference! | | | NAPNAP CE Corner | 2012 Annual Spring Nurse Practitioner Conference - May 3 – 4
