Position Statements NAPNAP adopts positions on myriad issues regarding children's health and professional nursing practice. We follow a rigorous process, beginning with the approval of the pursuit of a position, as well as in the actual development of each position. All of our position statements must be approved by NAPNAP's Executive Board. NAPNAP's position statements are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet evolving standards and best practices. All regular position statements from NAPNAP automatically expire 5 years after publication unless reaffirmed, revised, or retired at or before that time.
