Health Policy

Promoting children's health and protecting the professional practice of advanced practice nurses, caring for children directly impacts NAPNAP's advocacy objectives.

The NAPNAP health policy team is comprised of the Health Policy Chair and Committee, Government Affairs Director, staff, and volunteers.  Throughout the year, the team meets to discuss policy and advocacy issues relevant to our membership; develops resources and conducts collaborative sessions for members; attends key stakeholder meetings to provide input and support to promote children's health and the role of the PNP; provides comments on regulatory matters; tracks national legislation; and supports chapter and member policy issues.

Please use the links on the left side of the page to take access NAPNAP's policy related resources.  Additional resources, especially ACA and health insurance marketplace related links, are added as they become available.
