Q: We apologize for the confusion over the letter sent to members asking the member to pay a transition fee to continue their chapter membership until their anniversary date. A: The letter was sent to all members who paid dues between January 1 and June 30. With the new structure in place on July 1, the transition dues cover the portion of chapter dues from July 1 to the member’s anniversary date. In some cases, the member may have already paid the chapter its dues and thus needs only to notify us and we will update the database. Q: The financial forms for end of year are incorrect on the website. How do I find the right documents to use? A: The National Office will gladly send the documents to you by email. Please check with Melissa DiMatteo for that information at mdimatteo@napnap.org. Q: My renewal had no mention about the new membership fees? A: We apologize for the lack of communication with the members who renewal was due in May and June. Letters were sent to these members in July asking them to send in prorated chapter dues to cover the period of July 1 through their national anniversary date.
