Visit “About Us” on www.napnap.org – Learn more about NAPNAP’s history, governance structure and mission.
Logon with your Member Number and password – Access member’s only content within a few clicks. If you have just joined but forgot your password, click on “Forgot Password” and your password will be emailed to you.
Verify your Account/Contact Information – Upon login, click on the “Account” link. Verify that your contact and home and work information is correct. Be sure to provide NAPNAP with an email address to avoid missing important messages, resources and opportunities from NAPNAP. Save your changes.
Visit PNP SourCE- Take a course through NAPNAP’s online continuing education community and earn contact hours online. Some courses are free for members. Learn more.
Bookmark the NAPNAP website - Keep the NAPNAP website close and within easy reach to stay on top of timely clinical news and updates affecting advanced practice nursing and children’s health.

Visit the NAPNAP Community - Go to
www.napnap.org, login and click on the “Our Community” tab – NAPNAP’s Social Networking site. See what other members are blogging about. Complete your community profile so others with similar interest or proximity may connect with you (i.e., upload your photo, add interests, education, job history). Edit your contact information and decide what others can or cannot see on your profile.
Subscribe to your eGroups – From the Community Home Page (under Getting Started), click the link "Adjust your Subscription Settings." This is where you sign up to receive your eGroup messages in real time or daily.
Write or comment on a blog – From the Community Home Page you will see a list of recently added blogs. To add your own simply click on Create New Blog under the blue Blog tab.
Join a SIG – Connect with your peers that share common interests in an organized, formal manner through NAPNAP’s Special Interest Groups.

GET INVOLVED
Contact your local Chapter – Find out about Chapter events happening in your area. Visit the Chapter websites or login to your Chapter eGroup by logging into www.napnap.org and click on Community Profile. Click on your Profile and click on your Chapter group name. Select “View the eGroup” to follow postings or discussions.
Respond to Call for Volunteers - Throughout the year NAPNAP sends out a call for writers, representation on committees and workgroups and other activities. Please be on the watch for these opportunities through the NAPNAP Newsflash, The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Newsletter, website and other communication vehicles.
Serve on Boards – Each year NAPNAP holds an official annual election. All NAPNAP voting members are eligible to run for office on the NAPNAP Executive or Foundation Board. Check the website for the details of this selection process.
Volunteer to speak at the NAPNAP Conference – Interested in speaking at the NAPNAP Conference? Submit an abstract. The NAPNAP Conference Planning Committee accepts abstracts on an annual basis. Learn more.
Recruit a Member – Support your professional organization by recruiting a new member. Do you have a colleague that is not a member of NAPNAP? Not sure? Ask them, you may find an opportunity to share your experiences and convince them to join and take advantage of all the benefits of membership. Ask them to join online or give them a paper membership application.
Support your NAPNAP Foundation – Give to your professional association and contribute to the future of pediatric nurse practitioners. Your donation gives hope to children and nurse practitioner students and helps take NP practice and service in our community to a whole new level. Donate today.
Make your voice heard – Learn more about NAPNAP’s Health Policy Agenda; track progress on specific legislation and regulatory efforts; and visit the Legislative Action Center.
