National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners’ 32nd Annual Conference on Pediatric Health Care invites you to join us in Baltimore for our Annual Conference on Pediatric Health Care March 23-26, 2011.

Network with more than 1,400 pediatric health care professionals from across the nation, attend comprehensive educational sessions and visit the bustling exhibit hall! Our host city, Baltimore, is a city of surprises and unique experiences making it the charm of the Mid-Atlantic. Easily accessible by train and car and just minutes from BWI airport, hotels within walking distance of the Baltimore Convention Center and Inner Harbor create a fun and convenient destination for all to enjoy!

Preliminary conference plans include:

  • NAPNAP on Capitol Hill Day! Earn contact hours while getting together with key players to discuss the health care issues that affect children and PNPs.
  • 20 hour Intensive Basic Hypnosis workshop
  • Several pre-conference Intensive Workshops on Tuesday, March 22nd.
  • Concurrent, Plenary and General sessions targeted at all audiences.
  • Over 20 hours of NAPNAP continuing education contact hours, including pharmacology hours.
  • PNP certification review courses (Saturday, March 26th and Sunday 27th).
  • Networking and educational programs for the Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Certification Review Course

Saturday, March 23 – Sunday, March 24

 

Day One – Saturday, March 23

7:45 am (Registration) – 5:00 pm

 

Day Two – Sunday, March 24

8:00 am – 5:15 pm

 

This two-day course is designed to help you prepare for – and pass –the national pediatric nurse practitioner certification examination, whether you are taking the exam offered by the Pediatric Nursing certification Board (PNCB) or the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). The review course will cover major theories of growth and development, diagnosis, treatment modalities, and interventions of common pediatric illnesses, health care policy issues and more. An audience response system for practice exam questions will help you identify and analyze strengths and weaknesses. The organized approach will improve retention and recall, while test-taking strategies will help you succeed.

 

 Registration Fees: NAPNAP member: $300, Nonmember: $375. (A student rate is not available for this course.)
